CYCKS / INFORMATION
Privacy Policy
How CYCKS handles player information.
Effective date: 10/09/2026
1. Controller and contact
CYCKS is an online fictional investigation game operated by an individual under the name CYCKS.
For questions about how we collect, use, or protect personal information, or to exercise applicable privacy rights, contact us at privacy@cycks.com. Additional business contact information will be provided where required by applicable law.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use CYCKS, we may collect and process your email address, authentication information, player identifiers, purchase and transaction records, purchased Case File entitlements, FRAME credit balances and usage, investigation progress, and communications with our support team.
We may also collect technical information, including IP addresses, browser information, and security logs as necessary to operate, maintain and protect the service.
3. Why we use it
We use data to create and secure accounts, deliver purchased investigations, manage FRAME credits, provide support, detect abuse, maintain service reliability, and meet legal and accounting obligations. Where required, we identify an applicable legal basis such as contract performance, legitimate interests, consent or legal compliance.
4. Payments
CYCKS uses Paddle as its payment processing and Merchant of Record provider for eligible purchases. Payment information is collected and processed through Paddle's checkout services. CYCKS does not collect or store complete payment card numbers or card security codes.
CYCKS receives and retains information necessary to administer purchases, including transaction identifiers, payment status, purchased products, amounts, and related entitlement records. Paddle processes payment and billing information in accordance with its own privacy notice.
For additional information about payment terms, please see our Purchase & Billing Policy and Refund Policy.
5. Sharing and processors
We share personal information with service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate CYCKS, including website hosting, email services, security services, and payment processing through Paddle.
These providers may process information on our behalf or, where applicable, as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.
CYCKS does not sell players' personal information.
6. Retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide player accounts, maintain purchased content and gameplay progress, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
Retention periods depend on the type of information and the purpose for which it is maintained. Information may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer required, subject to applicable legal obligations.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect player information. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies and analytics
CYCKS uses cookies or similar technologies necessary for account authentication, session management, and website security.
If optional analytics or other nonessential tracking technologies are introduced, this policy will be updated and any legally required notice or consent will be provided.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export or restrict certain processing, or object to processing. Contact privacy@cycks.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and retain records where legally required.
9. International transfers and children
CYCKS and its service providers may process personal information in countries other than the country where a player resides. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers.
CYCKS is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to CYCKS, please contact privacy@cycks.com.
